This morning Jeanine Bondi Banks, EVP of LLoyd South had the honor of volunteering at The Florence Fuller Child Development Center (FFCDC) in Boca Raton, Florida.
Here are Jeanine’s words about her participation in this unique event…
Budsies, a South Florida-based company that brings artwork to life, partnered with 
the volunteers of the Boca West Children’s Foundation to create a fun morning of art, reading and creativity. The day began by reading a story to each classroom and then working alongside the children to inspire them to create a drawing that would be transformed into their very own plush toy. The children had fun coloring and a few artists created original artwork. 
Regardless, each drawing was unique and brought a lot of smiles and pride. One little girl, gave me a special drawing of the two of us to take home.
After the event, I met with the Chief Program Officer and am looking forward to continuing outreach efforts and to developing a presence for LLoyd offering a resource to working parents for career development. All parents of children attending FFCDC are employed in various industries in Palm Beach or Broward Counties
The Florence Fuller Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children of working parents, providing day care and after school programs to children ages six weeks to kindergarten for economically challenged families. Through education, employment assistance, and a powerful support system of teachers and staff that truly care they believe every child should have the chance to learn, grow, and experience success in school and life regardless of their ability to pay childcare.
