Back to the Future Event Celebrates LLoyd’s 42 Years of Excellence

LLoyd first opened its doors in 42 years ago. Founded in 1971, by Merrill Banks, a certified staffing professional (CSP), Mr. Banks continues to serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Today, second generation leadership is in place, with Keith Banks, CSP, as President, and Jason Banks, CSP, serving as Executive Vice President.

LLoyd Supports Long Island Coalition for the Homeless Project

As part of LLoyd’s commitment to community outreach, we chose to support the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless (LICH) in their partnership with Holiday Magic and Every Child’s Dream. Together with these groups, LLoyd employees helped to collect school supplies, backpacks, clothing and sneakers for more than 1,000 children in need on Long Island.

Congratulations! You’ve just been singled out and promoted to a supervisory role. It’s very uplifting to be recognized and rewarded by your employer, but on the heels of these good feelings often comes the fall out from peers who may or may not be happy for you.

Paying Employees During Disasters or Other Economic Events

The last three weeks have been especially difficult for those of us on Long island. Hurricane Sandy left its mark and the destruction and damage is virtually everywhere. As a company headquartered here and one that provides contingent workers to regional businesses, we have heard our share of storm disaster stories as well as some inspiring tales of people rising above the challenges.
