Lloyd Staffing was Recognized with a 2025 ASA Care Award Honorable Mention
The American Staffing Association (ASA) annually presents their Care Awards to honor the top corporate social responsibility initiatives in the staffing and recruiting industry. Among this year’s honorees is Lloyd Staffing, a Melville-based firm recognized with an Honorable Mention for its program, “Advancing Mental Health in the Workplace.”
“The staffing and recruiting industry is in the business of advancing careers and improving people’s lives,” said Richard Wahlquist, chief executive officer at ASA. “But industry members are also committed [to] giving back in ways that make a difference in the communities where those people live and that contribute to the overall well-being of our planet. They are doing well by doing good, and we salute them.”
The ASA Care Award honorees were recognized during in Orlando, Florida, at 2025 Staffing World®, the ASA annual convention and expo. This honorable mention was Lloyd’s second association with the CARE Award, Lloyd was the first recipient of this honor in 2008 for diverse programs and activities in corporate social responsibility.
Lloyd’s “Advancing Mental Health in the Workplace” program brings in dedicated speakers to address stress, burnout, emotional regulation, and vulnerabilities with both internal staff and its nationwide contract workforce. The initiative also includes programming around nutrition, self-care, mindfulness, and overall well-being, with the goal of fostering inclusion, empathy, emotional balance, and resilience.
Jason Banks, CSP, President of Lloyd Staffing attended the conference and received the award on behalf of Lloyd. Additionally he participated in a conference event as a panel member for “Growing Into a Top Biller & Staying Relevant in a Shifting Direct Hire Market,” which was facilitated by Judith Folashade Ojo.
