National Certification is one of the values LLoyd Staffing prizes among the competencies and accomplishments of our professional staff.
Our firm actively participates in the American Staffing Association’s (ASA) Certification program, which is approved by the Human Resource Certification Institute. Certfication requires demonstrated knowledge of labor and employment laws, as well as the code of ethics and good practices established by the ASA.
Study topics include the pre-employment process, equal employment opportunity laws and regulations, candidate screening, the Immigration Reform and Control Act, substance abuse and drug testing in the workplace, employment agreements, wage and hour laws, family and medical leave, workplace safety and the Occupational Safety and Health Act, workers’ compensation, wrongful discarge, co-employment issues, and more.
Our staff are Certified Staffing Professionals (CSP) and some are Technical Services Certified (TSC) as well. In addition to passing a timed two-hour online exam, maintaining certfication requires 30 hours of approved continued education credits.
