Positions:
Residential Aide/Community Technician
As a vital part of the frontline team, you will help ensure the safety, structure, and smooth operation of a residential facility serving individuals with complex needs. This role combines security monitoring, resident engagement, and administrative support to maintain a safe, supportive environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the building; issue client ID cards and log visitor activity.
- Patrol the facility to prevent property loss or damage; report any incidents or unusual behavior.
- Observe resident activities and intervene or restore order when necessary.
- Act as a point of contact for emergency responders (EMS, Fire Department).
- Escort residents as needed and screen calls and visitors.
- Assist in preparing and updating schedules, logs, census reports, case assignments, roll calls, and probation lists.
- Maintain detailed transition and facility logs.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Available Weekends
Helpful but Not Required
- Prior security experience
- Bilingual and/or experience with MICA and homeless populations is a plus
- CPR certification or willingness to complete CPR training
Available Shifts:
- 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Compensation: $17-18/hour
Location: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens
