Lloyd Honors Three Associates for National Staffing Employee Week

National Staffing Employee Week celebrates the contributions of the millions of individuals employed by U.S. staffing firms each week. During this special week, staffing firms honor their greatest asset: their temporary and contract employees.  Lloyd is proud to feature three of our associates who made outstanding contributions to our workforce and to the community this past year.  These honorees were chosen by our staff members for their work ethic, attitude, flexibility, and dedication.  They will each receive a $100 Amazon eGift card as a token of our appreciation.

We thank ALL of our associates for the work they do and for representing Lloyd in such a positive way out in the business community.  You are the #LLoydEmployed!

JOHN O’TOOLE  – SPECIAL PROJECTS
John spearheaded Lloyd’s project with our client, a major industry association, for vaccine implementation and quickly rose through the ranks at the Jones Beach site, as well as the Brentwood  (New York) location. He was considered a lead and oversaw the day-to-day operations and the PODs. He was highly requested by project staff members and never missed a shift. More importantly, he would always come through and pick up extra shifts and worked roughly 60 hours per week, while helping to fight the spread of the corona virus.

Since the PODs have closed John remains a loyal associate and is currently working a contract role at a retail client which was supposed to be a short-term assignment.  His performance and attitude is placing him into consideration for a possible full time role.

John has been reliable, respectable and someone who truly represents the ideal contract associate.

NOUREEN AHMAD – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Noureen has been an impact resource at our client, a global beauty and wellness manufacturer, since 2019. Noureen was hired as a Business Analyst to help identify requirements and document process for their longest and most important technology program that is innovating and transforming their overall business.

Since starting, Noureen has been instrumental in bringing business units together, keeping the program on time, and was asked to lead and champion committees and develop cross functional relationships that have been instrumental to the overall program.

Noureen is often asked to train new staff and resources and has been an example for other teams to hire. She is dependable, extremely reliable and uniquely respected by fellow contractors, staff and executives at the firm.  Personally, Noureen has accomplished all of the this and has been consistently reliable and a top performer while suffering through family loss due to Covid!

Noureen truly sets the LLOYDEMPLOYED example of work ethic, performance and reliability

GREGORY GATES – HEALTHCARE
Gregory Gates was a key member of the a major Vaccination project Lloyd undertook for a healthcare client and he is now working a similar COVID project for post-secondary institutions throughout the five boroughs in an effort to stop the pandemic. He has been an asset to Lloyd regardless of client or site, and he is often named as Team Leader due to his ability to motivate, organize and give direction.

Greg always goes one step further.  He sends daily updates and he even bought his team breakfast one morning just for working hard. He is a delight to work with and is always willing to pitch in where needed and assist in any way he can.

Greg is one of our associates who does contract work as a supplement to his regular profession.  As a videographer and film producer, he told us that COVID basically shut his industry shut down, but he still wanted to work to keep busy. Since things have started opening up in NY again, he has been able to return to filming and production work, but lucky for Lloyd, Greg has managed to use the flexibility of temping to his advantage.  He can film and still work special projects for us as he is doing with covid testing on NYC college campuses.

Congratulations to John, Noureen and Gregory – we are so proud to have you as valued members of the LLoydEmployed.
