LLoyd was recognized for more than 15 years membership in the ASA which serves as the voice of the U.S. staffing industry. The association and its affiliated chapters advance the interests of staffing and recruiting firms of all sizes and across all sectors through legal and legislative advocacy, public relations, education and the promotion of high standards of legal, ethical and processional practices.
ASA members provide the full range of employment and workforce services and solutions, including temporary and contract staffing, recruiting and permanent placement, outplacement and outsourcing, training, and human resource consulting.
LLoyd has always seen the value in participating in an association that represents our industry and offers training, support and advocacy to its members. LLoyd leadership has participated at the national, regional and local level and are staunch advocates for industry education. In 2008, the ASA recognized LLoyd’s commitment to excellence in corporate citizenship and community outreach by awarding LLoyd its first ever CARE Award. LLoyd was honored again in 2014 as the employer of the 2014 National Staffing Employee of the Year, for the contributions made by one of LLoyd’s associates, a network architect and engineer, who handled some difficult workforce challenges during the chaos of Hurricane Sandy.
LLoyd’s President Keith Banks, CSP, is currently working on re-establishing and launching the Long Island Chapter of the New York Staffing Association. Says Banks, “The staffing industry has become an integral part of the economic landscape. When employers work with staffing firms who are part of the American Staffing Association, they are assured of the highest standards of professionalism. It is a benchmark of industry excellence. We are proud of our tenure with them.”
