Nancy Schuman

Nancy Schuman’s career in marketing spans more than 35 years in the staffing and employment industry. From 1996 to 2011 she served as the Vice President of Marketing for LLoyd and was named as its Chief Marketing and Communications Officer in 2012. She is responsible for advertising, public relations, corporate branding, and corporate communications. Nancy also leads social media, social recruiting and web strategies directed at both employers and candidate talent. Prior to joining LLoyd she held a senior management role with a large national staffing firm headquartered in NYC for more than a dozen years. For many years she served on the Executive Board of the New York Association of Staffing Services and was a member of the American Staffing Association’s National Public Relation’s and Industry Marketing Committee. Nancy’s strong writing and content development skills inspired a professional writing career. She is a well-known author of numerous books on the employment market and job search. Her eleven bestsellers include 1001 Phrases You Need to Get a Job (Adams Media 2012) and The Everything Resume Book (Adams Media 2008). She also served as the weekly Career Columnist for The Long Island Press, the largest weekly newspaper covering the Long Island marketplace from 2006 to 2010. At LLoyd, beyond her core marketing responsibilities, Nancy heads up LLoyd’s Corporate Social Responsibility and Company Culture initiatives. She was largely responsible for helping LLoyd earn the American Staffing Associations’ CARE Award in 2008, the first ever given to a staffing firm for producing an overall positive effect on society and community.
