2016

  • LLoyd is a winner of a 2016 and 2015 Best of Staffing award by Inavero in partnership with CareerBuilder. This award is based purely on ratings given to us by clients and talent from an independent survey. Winners have an average Net Promoter Score® more than eight times the industry average for staffing and recruiting agencies and make up less than two percent of all staffing firms in the U.S. and Canada.

  • We are four times winners of the Best Staffing Service of Long Island voted by readers of the Long Island Press, formerly an alternative newsweekly turned online news publication. This competitive award had only one 2015 winner and that was LLoyd Staffing.

2015

  • LLoyd awarded Best of Staffing by Inavero in partnership with Careerbuilder for superior service to clients and average Net Promoter Score® more than eight times the industry average for staffing and recruiting agencies.

  • LLoyd named to the Staffing Agency Power 500. Resume-Library, an independent job site dedicated to the employment market marketplace, ranked LLoyd on their Top 200 leaderboard for staffing firms active on Twitter & other social media as scored by Klout. The scores from Klout are influenced by a variety of metrics taken from Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Instagram, Foursquare, Wikipedia and Klout itself.

2014

  • LLoyd Staffing wins “Best of Long Island” (in the staffing services category) in our Headquarters market, Long Island, New York – more than 2 million votes cast at longislandpress.com

  • LLoydIT Associate is named the National Staffing Employee of the Year by the American Staffing Association and is honored at the industry’s national convention in Orlando, Florida.

2011

  • LLoyd celebrates our 40th Anniversary! We estimate we have put more than one million people into the labor pool since 1971.

2008

  • LLoyd is named as the first place winner of the American Staffing Association’s CARE Award for excellence in corporate social responsibility.

2006

  • LLoyd President Keith Banks appears with Ed Helms on The Daily Show, offering job hunting advice.

  • LLoyd launches LLoydSearch, specifically to handle retained searches for high level, C-suite leadership positions and Board Member roles.

2006

  • Keith Banks, CSP is named President of LLoyd Staffing.

2002

  • LLoyd offers Campus Cash program providing stipend to college-bound temporary associates to support them in their future career goals.

2001

  • Ringo, a vendor management system, is launched as a separate company as a new tool to provide increased accuracy, efficient, cost containment and accountability to address the business community’s new lean/mean strategy toward contingent talent. It is co-created by Keith Banks, CSP.

2000

  • LLoyd California opens in Los Angeles region.

    Originally it is a recruiting site for a Master Staffing Program (MSP) with a global consumer products client. Later, this office becomes (and still is) a woman-owned, minority business enterprise/franchise.

1999

  • LLoyd Corporate Headquarters moves into a new suite of offices at 455 Broadhollow Road, Melville, NY.

1998

  • Spider Staffing launches in NYC, founded by Jason Banks, CSP., EVP.

    It is created to address the growing demand for web professionals in the booming dotcom marketplace.

    This division later morphs and evolves into LLoydCreative & Digital Talent.

1997

  • LLoydHealthcare is launched and operates for 10 successful years as a JCAHO certified staffing supplier to hospitals and clinical providers offering clinical and nonclinical talent including per diem and travel professionals.

    This business was sold in 2007.

1996

  • LLoydSouth takes on a larger presence in Southern Florida and is currently a mainstay of the Tri-County marketplace of the Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade region.

  • LLoydNYC opens its doors in midtown Manhattan headed up by Keith Banks CSP.

  • LLoyd Personnel and Creative Staffing undergo a name change to reflect the merging of temporary and direct hire talent solutions…LLoyd Staffing.

1995

  • To address the transition from traditional word processing systems to desktop publishing, LLoyd opens PC & MacCentral where classes are offered in a classroom setting and onsite, to users of Microsoft or Apple equipment. Individual and corporate training is offered in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and graphics.

1990

  • LLoyd takes on large scale staffing projects and is awarded the Long Island Rail Road’s marketing studies project which includes passenger counts, climate control studies and rider satisfaction surveys. Up to 150 temporary associates are deployed in a single day for varying shifts beginning at 3 a.m. and ending at 9 p.m. Satisfactorily maintains and is awarded this contract for 20+ years.

1989

  • Keith Banks joins LLoyd and apprentices in virtually every area of the business.

1986

  • As micro-computers, main frames and new operating systems changed the face of computing, LLoyd develops a division catering exclusively to the unique growth in business technology and data processing, LLoyd Computer Staffing – today known as LLoydIT.

1985

  • LLoyd opens first National offices by joining forces with former clients who become LLoyd franchisees.

    LLoyd Personnel System locations launch in Illinois, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Florida.

1983

  • LLoyd expands into the temporary employment marketplace by launching Creative Staffing in Plainview, NY.

1981

  • Merrill Banks (right) receives the private placement industry’s highest honor, the Industry Service Award by the Association of Personnel Consultants of New York recognizing his dedication, contributions and advancement of the staffing and search industry.

1971

  • LLoyd opens its doors in Great Neck, NY placing candidates for “permanent” positions, largely in sales, business equipment and office technologies.

    New office equipment created a need for talent who could sell this equipment to the business community and for people who could effectively operate it.

    LLoyd Personnel Agency’s first placement was for an Olivetti-Underwood Typewriter Salesperson for a salary of $7,200 a year.
